The Hillcrest Estate - Pavilion, NY

I loved everything about this venue, located in Pavilion NY, this historic estate is unique and beautiful. The ceremony spot they have set up is gorgeous, the tent is just perfect and there are places for the entire wedding party to get ready right on the property! Everywhere you turn there are great picture opportunities! Enjoy a few highlights from this amazing venue!

Senior Season is right around the corner

I can hardly believe its March already, and that means that senior season is just around the corner. We start shooting ambassadors as early as April in the blossoms! We go all over for sessions, with some of our favorite locations being in Rochester and Ithaca. I can’t wait for this senior season!

Venue spotlight: The Fontainebleau Inn, Alpine NY

I love going back through old weddings and reliving these incredible days. I had forgotten how much I absolutely loved this venue, The Fontainebleau Inn, located in Alpine NY. The property is just gorgeous and there is even a small chapel on the property that you can get to by taking a short walk through the woods. There is a lake on the property as well, and the building has more than enough room for everyone to get ready right there! Enjoy this little trip down memory lane…

Surprise proposal

As of last year, after nearly 20 years of business, we had only photographed two proposals. Then, in the course of a month, we photographed THREE of them! Honestly, I absolutely loved taking part in the surprises. From picking the locations to walking them each through when to drop to their knees… it was so exciting! Here is one of them for you to enjoy!

Daydreaming about summer weddings at Ventosa

This cold winter is definitely wearing on me, so don’t mind me while I daydream about these amazing summer weddings at Ventosa Vineyards, a beautiful venue in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Lucky for us, Ventosa is less than five minutes from our house, so we are fortunate to be here quite often! Enjoy!

January Weddings in the Finger Lakes

We had a busier than usual month for weddings with three beautiful January weddings, all at Belhurst Castle! We had a light snow cover for each wedding, and a few flakes in the air, just enough to get that winter wedding feeling. I’m just so happy that each of these couples were willing to brave the cold with us for pictures! Enjoy!

Classy Speakeasy Feel at Belhurst Castle

Walking through Belhurst Castle, you might not see this room at first… but once you’ve seen it, you will never forget it! This couple couldn’t have posed better for their portraits in here, their interactions were perfection and I absolutely love these pictures. Enjoy!

A Fawn Sayter named Umber

Who remembers when I posted about a fairy session a few years ago? Well, that young lady is growing up and designing even more elaborate costumes now. My beautiful model designed this herself and her mother assisted her in creating it. I am just blown away, check these out…

Brick Church Farms Wedding

Long time, no post! We had an amazing summer and now we are officially into FALL wedding season! This past weekend I shot at another new venue that I absolutely loved, Brick Church Farms in Sodus, NY. On an active Christmas Tree farm, the grounds were a PERFECT backdrop for a wedding, as you will see here! This wedding had a little bit of everything… rain in the morning, flower bros instead of flower girls, the bestest doggies, hilarious (forgotten) ring exchange, and an amazing rainbow! ENJOY!

June Wedding Highlights

June was a busy month, with weddings all over the Finger Lakes… we were back to Belhurst Castle and Ventosa Vineyards again, but added a couple of new locations (well, new to us) like Bristol Mountain! Enjoy a few highlights from the month as we get ready for our July weddings!

Old Hickory Farm Wedding

We had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at a venue that we’ve never been to before and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We really hope to be back again soon! Check out Old Hickory Farm in Weedsport, NY!

First wedding of the 2024 season

We kicked off our 2024 wedding season with a beautiful (and very windy) wedding in the Finger Lakes. The bride and groom both got ready and had their first look at the 41 Lakefront Hotel on Seneca Lake in Geneva, NY. The ceremony and reception were held at Ventosa Vineyards, which luckily for us is practically in our backyard, only a few minutes away from our house. This venue and the staff are nothing short of incredible and it's always a pleasure to be there! Congratulations to this beautiful couple, you were the perfect wedding to start off our season with!

Fun and unique family session

Family portrait sessions should NOT be boring and should reflect what your family is truly like. I absolutely LOVE this graffiti family session that I shot in Rochester, NY earlier this month!

Memories From a Past Wedding

Hello, Jen here… Our studio is Pat and Jen Tellier, but I’m writing personally today to take you on a trip down memory lane. Over the course of my career as a wedding photographer (nearly 20 years now), there are just some weddings that come to mind more often. This is one of those weddings. The sentimental moments that pushed me over the edge, the super fun couple and amazing wedding party, a gorgeous venue and the most perfect weather… it’s definitely one for the books! Side note, if you’re looking for an amazing wedding venue, check out Zugibe Vineyards! Enjoy:

Last wedding of the season

In nearly 20 years of photographing weddings, I can count on one hand how many times the weather has been bad enough to force me inside the entire day. Of course, our last wedding of the season this year was one of those times! Throw in a groomsman forgetting his vest and not arriving back until 15 minutes before the ceremony (when we were supposed to do wedding party portraits before hand) and it could have been a disaster. Luckily, this couple was absolutely amazing and as always Belhurst was super accommodating. We made it all work perfectly and I’m honestly in love with these portraits! I can’t get enough of this wedding!

The Tower Suite and a ceremony at Belhurst

I just wanted to share some highlights of what it’s like to get ready in the tower suite at Belhurst Castle and then to follow it up with a beautiful Belhurst ceremony! We are at Belhurst 15 times this wedding season, so we call it our second home. This is just one of the incredible weddings we had there this year. Enjoy!

Featured Venue: Wren’s Roost

One of my new favorite venues… the pictures really speak for themselves! This place is absolutely incredible! The view, the property, the buildings, the ceremony site, everything is just gorgeous!
