Brick Church Farms Wedding

Long time, no post! We had an amazing summer and now we are officially into FALL wedding season! This past weekend I shot at another new venue that I absolutely loved, Brick Church Farms in Sodus, NY. On an active Christmas Tree farm, the grounds were a PERFECT backdrop for a wedding, as you will see here! This wedding had a little bit of everything… rain in the morning, flower bros instead of flower girls, the bestest doggies, hilarious (forgotten) ring exchange, and an amazing rainbow! ENJOY!

June Wedding Highlights

June was a busy month, with weddings all over the Finger Lakes… we were back to Belhurst Castle and Ventosa Vineyards again, but added a couple of new locations (well, new to us) like Bristol Mountain! Enjoy a few highlights from the month as we get ready for our July weddings!

Old Hickory Farm Wedding

We had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at a venue that we’ve never been to before and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We really hope to be back again soon! Check out Old Hickory Farm in Weedsport, NY!

First wedding of the 2024 season

We kicked off our 2024 wedding season with a beautiful (and very windy) wedding in the Finger Lakes. The bride and groom both got ready and had their first look at the 41 Lakefront Hotel on Seneca Lake in Geneva, NY. The ceremony and reception were held at Ventosa Vineyards, which luckily for us is practically in our backyard, only a few minutes away from our house. This venue and the staff are nothing short of incredible and it's always a pleasure to be there! Congratulations to this beautiful couple, you were the perfect wedding to start off our season with!

We are so excited to be offering fun and creative branding sessions for businesses! Whether you just need one session or you want to set up multiple sessions for years to come, we have packages to help your business be seen the way you never even knew it could!

Fun and unique family session

Family portrait sessions should NOT be boring and should reflect what your family is truly like. I absolutely LOVE this graffiti family session that I shot in Rochester, NY earlier this month!

Memories From a Past Wedding

Hello, Jen here… Our studio is Pat and Jen Tellier, but I’m writing personally today to take you on a trip down memory lane. Over the course of my career as a wedding photographer (nearly 20 years now), there are just some weddings that come to mind more often. This is one of those weddings. The sentimental moments that pushed me over the edge, the super fun couple and amazing wedding party, a gorgeous venue and the most perfect weather… it’s definitely one for the books! Side note, if you’re looking for an amazing wedding venue, check out Zugibe Vineyards! Enjoy:

Last wedding of the season

In nearly 20 years of photographing weddings, I can count on one hand how many times the weather has been bad enough to force me inside the entire day. Of course, our last wedding of the season this year was one of those times! Throw in a groomsman forgetting his vest and not arriving back until 15 minutes before the ceremony (when we were supposed to do wedding party portraits before hand) and it could have been a disaster. Luckily, this couple was absolutely amazing and as always Belhurst was super accommodating. We made it all work perfectly and I’m honestly in love with these portraits! I can’t get enough of this wedding!

The Tower Suite and a ceremony at Belhurst

I just wanted to share some highlights of what it’s like to get ready in the tower suite at Belhurst Castle and then to follow it up with a beautiful Belhurst ceremony! We are at Belhurst 15 times this wedding season, so we call it our second home. This is just one of the incredible weddings we had there this year. Enjoy!

Featured Venue: Wren’s Roost

One of my new favorite venues… the pictures really speak for themselves! This place is absolutely incredible! The view, the property, the buildings, the ceremony site, everything is just gorgeous!

Congratulations to Ventosa!

A well deserved honor for Ventosa Vineyards! Fun fact, Tellier Studios and Ventosa share the same anniversary… both opening our doors in 2005! We absolutely LOVE photographing weddings there!

Senior session on our farm

When you book a senior photo session on our personal farm property because of the aesthetic appeal of shooting a country themed session, and you 1000% understand the assignment!!!

Oswego, NY Wedding

We don’t make it to Oswego very often for a wedding, but earlier this month we had the opportunity to photograph at a location that we have never been to before… Alexandria’s, right on Lake Ontario Harbor. With Fort Ontario just a few blocks away and St. Mary’s Church a few blocks in the other direction, we were able to put together an incredible grouping of photographs for this newlywed couple’s special day! Their day had everything from ten minutes of rain (for good luck), to scooter rentals to make it around town, to a gorgeous rainbow at the end of the day… ENJOY!

Quinta Rosa Estate Wedding

This past summer we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at a location that we had never been before in Newfield, NY (just past Ithaca, NY) and I have to say that it was an absolutely stunning property! We hope to have the opportunity to go back again soon. The owners were fantastic to work with and the pictures from this couple’s day are just gorgeous! Enjoy a few of the highlights from the day…

“Ringing” in the New Year

Help me “ring” in the New Year (see what I did there) with a handful of our favorite ring details from this past year! Happy New Year everyone and we are looking forward to another amazing wedding season in 2022!

Small Barn Wedding in Upstate NY

The Finger Lakes area of Upstate New York holds so many treasures for those looking to get married in the area. The selection of barns to choose from for a wedding is absolutely surreal, check out this one that Pat photographed this fall in Naples, NY… an area that I have loved visiting since I was a child.

Rochester, NY Engagement Session

How we make people FEEL, both about themselves when they see their pictures as well as when we are shooting with them, is always so incredibly important to us! A couple of days after this engagement session, we received a message from the wonderful couple saying:

“Wedding planning has been stressful at times and our shoot was a reminder that it can still be fun! Patrick was so kind and fun to talk to…”

This is one of the MANY reasons we do what we do and we LOVE what we do!
